In November 2000, Louis Posner founded VoterMarch.com — a nationwide not-for-profit organization for voter rights and electoral reform, established in response to irregularities in the 2000 U.S. Presidential election in Florida. Headquartered in New York City, VoterMarch grew to include affiliate chapters VoterMarch DC, Seattle VoterMarch, and Voter West. Posner served as the main speaker at the Voter Rights March in Washington, D.C. in 2001, where footage from his speech at the West Capitol steps was featured in the political documentary film Florida Fights Back: Resisting the Stolen Election. On March 10, 2001, Posner was a plenary speaker at the "Grassroots Use of the Internet" conference at Yale University.
